2020-2021 Lantau Conservation Fund Application Results Announcement

The Lantau Conservation Fund (LCF) and its advisory Committee were set up with the first round of application commenced in 2020. An overwhelming response of 70 applications has been received, applying for funding to carry out conservation and related projects in Lantau.

The LCF has approved a total of 18 projects involving a total grand of around $5.5 million in the first round of application (2020-2021). Following the commencement of these approved projects, LCF will welcome the second round of application on 28 December 2021. LCF will continue supporting projects that contribute to the overall conservation of Lantau, raise community awareness on the conservation of Lantau, and engage the community to put conservation into practice. We vision to fostering a quality living environment for the current generation and beyond.
